Delete your account & data
You can delete your dischargeRx data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Erase data on your device
dischargeRx is local-first, so most of your data lives on your device. To erase it:
- Open dischargeRx and go to Settings.
- Under Data, choose the option to erase your data.
- Confirm. This removes your plans, history, helpers, and settings from that device.
Delete a synced (cloud) account
If you signed in and enabled sync, choosing Delete account and start over from Settings while signed in deletes your dischargeRx login itself, not just your data — your whole circle's data if you are the patient, or just your own membership if you are a helper. This happens immediately; you don't need to contact us.
Can't sign in? Email privacy@dischargerx.app from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". After we verify your identity, we permanently delete your account and associated cloud data within [30] days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile.
- Care plans, tasks, schedules, dose/completion history, and notes.
- Uploaded documents and their stored copies.
- Helper/care-circle records tied to your account.
What may remain briefly
Backups and security logs may persist for a short, limited period before being purged, and we may retain the minimum records required by law. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. See our Privacy Policy for retention details.
Cancelling a subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel separately in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
